A content management system is an application system for organizing and facilitating collaborative creation of documents and other content. A content management system is sometimes a web application used for managing websites and web content, though in many cases, content management systems require special client software for editing and constructing articles. They can also be used for storage and single sourcing of documentation for a firm including but not limited to operators' manuals, technical manuals, sales guides, etc. The market for content management systems remains fragmented, with many open-source and proprietary solutions available.
The CMS manages content (text, graphics, links, video, audio etc.) for distribution on a web server. Usually the CMS provides tools where users with little or no knowledge of programming languages and markup languages (such as HTML) can create and manage content with relative ease of use. Most systems use a database to hold content, and a presentation layer displays the content to regular website visitors based on a set of templates. Management of the software is typically done through a web browser, but some systems may be modified in other ways
We have developed a contents management system (CMS) which is hosted application and can be integrated with any website or web portal so if user wanted to change the front end content user can make neccessary changes using simple CMS system, This Content management system transfer the data dynamically means whatever data has been stored or changed or deleted are getting stored on the hosting server in database and data getting display on the website or portal.
