To overcome the lack of online data security and get the data in read-only format it is best solution normally for documents purpose read only format is (Portable Document Format) PDF. This solution is developed using a very popular PDF toolkit (Active PDF Toolkit) we have developed PDF solution to generate on-the-fly PDF documents by inserting contents from database. The documents generated are multilingual using embedded fonts.

This application is developed using ASP.Net as front end and in the backend Weblineindia have used C# and for database MS SQL Server. This is an online application and developed as an independent Web Application.

This custom PDF solution also uses Crystal Reports to generate dynamic PDFs. Users can write in text that they want to insert and that text is inserted on-the-fly in the document it is given to download for the user. DRM (Digital Rights Management) can also be combined with this solution to have both functionalities to secure / protect the distribution and access control of dynamic PDFs also for any Document management system it could be more useful as it reduces efforts from the end user itself.
 

As normally people use PDF to avoid copy the confidential or important data. So they generate "Portable Document Files" (PDF) and make data copy proof so data security is extremely high. Not only those PDFs also not editable so that is one more benefit. We talked about DRM above. DRMs are used to distribute the documents across and organization or community and can also track to whom you have distributed data. In that case when  data is highly confidential and user wanted to avoid duplicating OR copying the document so PDF is the best solution user can just integrate this custom PDF module and can start generating PDFs automatically;
