SmartClient are developed using .Net Technologies. Although, it runs though URL user experience performance without and data display errors or bugs as it actually running using client side resources only necessary data is collected from the server.

The design is based on SOA (Service oriented architecture). It’s normally accessed by web URL. Once the URL is accessed .net assemblies are called and loaded on client machine. It provides rich windows based interface. Since there is a limitation on the platform it can run, its best suited for closed group usage such as intranet. There is limitation on dynamicity that can be generated using html code so in such cases smartclient can be an excellent option.
