New in Snapchat: Replay and filters
Snapchat recently released comprehensive lift to its iOS and Android apps, allowing it to gain update to replay images along with many fresh filters. The later has ‘smart’ covers that touts of capturing time, temperature and also speed. Just rolled out feature of replay enables user to repeatedly see his received messages, when selected. But, this can only be used once in 24 hours, so user is required to wisely select the worthiest one to play again.
“You only get one a day, so you’ve got to use it where it counts,” CEO Evan Spiegel told The Verge.
The released moves of Snapchat were given out as little rewards for users (almost 70% of whom are females) to stream them over till the upcoming move.
“We just decided as a holiday present to the Snapchat community that we would put out a couple things we thought were fun,” said Spiegel.
To use these fresh new Snapchat features, go inside the settings section of the app and arrive at Additional Services. The released features will allow you to select another font for your on-image messages and switch the number of close friends the app has record of. You also get a front-face flash option to brighten your portfolio in a better way.
When the filters are on, you can flip the picture on either direction – left or right and view them in some life like sepia, vintage, and Black and White. Presently these are the only options you get and will it remain still or some additions will follow is hidden presently. Replay is an extraordinary feature right now and when combined with the Stories feature the app released in October reveals that some parts of the app’s experience may last forever.
